Invitation to unsecured creditors

UCHUMI SUPERMARKETS PLC (the “Company”) invites all unsecured/trade creditors to register their debts as part of the ongoing implementation of Company Voluntary Arrangement (“CVA”) approved by the High Court of Kenya at Nairobi in Insolvency Petition Number 25 of 2018 on 1st July 2020.

Any person who was owed money by the company as an unsecured creditor arising from the supply of goods or services as at 2nd March 2020 is required to register by visiting www.myuchumi.com to enable the person to upload the details of the unpaid invoices in the excel format downloadable on the website for audit and validation of the creditors list by the Company in order to establish qualifying creditors under the CVA.

The process of registration and uploading of the invoices details is open for twenty one (21) calendar days only from the date of this publication after which it will be closed and any person who will not have registered and/or uploaded unpaid invoices details will be deemed to have fully waived the debt and accordingly such a debt will be 100% discounted under the CVA. MOHAMED MOHAMED CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER   OWEN KOIMBURI SUPERVISOR
