ENABLE & CONNECT BUSINESS INCUBATION PROGRAM
Uchumi supermarket PLC in partnership with Vijana Reloaded a youth entrepreneurship social enterprise, has come up with Enable and Connect incubation program. This aims to support the local cottage industry owned by the micro small and Medium enterprises (MSME’s),of which 83% of the employment in Kenya originates from the informal sector.
Program Details
Through enable & connect program, we have created a business incubation hub that will provide enabling environment for MSME’s to thrive.
This is through supporting them through business management training, mentorship and showcasing the products in the retail market spaces.
This will help create youth employment and promote Buy Kenya Build Kenya
OUR VISION: To assist 10,000 Micro small and medium enterprises (MSME’s) in cottage industry get their products to the retail supermarkets shelves and create 100,000 youth employment opportunities by 2026.
